Hi,
I would like to compare phase difference between two signals (freq.range 10kHz-500kHz) and produce dc value at the output (pin 12). For that reason I found out that AD630 or MC1496 might do the job. I found that the AD630 is very expensive compare to MC1496 so I decided to test the MC1496 and perform simulations with multisim. However the results are not what I expected. I’m expecting the output would be similar as full wave rectifier if the phase difference is 0 deg. The dc output should decrease when the phase difference increases to 90 deg and so on. I found that the output become saturated due to the output shifted several volts above. Can anyone help me what's wrong with the circuit? Please help.
