How to simulate 74HC221 in Multisim 13

Hello,

I searched for an answer and saw an answer from 2009.  I like to simulate the 74HC221, but could not find it in any of the supplied libs in version 13.   Just wondering if anyone else has come up with a solution.

Hi there,

Although right now there is no 74HC221 in Multisim 13, there is a Dual Precision Retriggerable Monostable Multivibrator, the CD4538BCN. Maybe that could be used in your simulation instead? Or, if you felt like you have the abilty to analyze the model and modify the existing CD4538BCN to behave like the 74HC221, you can save a copy in the USER Database and adjust the model from there.

To locate the CD4538BCN, Select Master Database => Mixed => MULTIVIBRATORS
