Help, I don't know whats missing ? or maybe is it supposed to be like this ? 74HC193 Design

Hello,

I just want to put the IC 74HC193 in a typical circuit for it to count from 0 to 15 making a MOD16 UP/Down counter (I want to understand the IC then make the down and up in the same IC later), but when I execute the simulation it freezes on ~CO pin instead of turning the corrosponding lamps to the upcoming number on and off ? Please explain. my work is attached to this post.

You need to tie the DOWN pin to Vcc before the counter can work. I've added switches to the LOAD & CLR pins of your circuit so that you can try different preload values. File is attached.
