Hello dear ppl.
Need help to show instantaneous power in a graphical way.
My circuit is just an PWM chopping an IRF840 at 58khz using a DC motor as load.
Would like to know if MSim has some Tool or meter to show me Voltage x Current as it developes across
Drain Source of the Mosfet, so I may see peak turn-on losses.
I use a basic oscilloscope across a series resitor to watch current and then multiplies it with voltage,to know
instantaneou power. But may be there is some practical way using another tool or meter that record its maximun
value.
Thanks .

Hi there,
You can use the Transient Analysis to show the instantaneous power of your circuit.
In the Output Tab, you can add the expression "V*I" as the output.
Here is a link to configure a Transient Analysis in detail:

Hope it helps.

Ok Chen_T, thanks for that.
Will try Transient Analisys and see how it goes.
