Does oscilloscope ignore extreme points in Multisim?

Hi there,

I ran a simulation and got a plot in oscilloscope, which is in the voltage range of -15V~15V. Then I saved the data that composed this plot. However, when I plotted the trace back in Matlab, I got some strange points with extreme values, like 5e235V, which extended the default vertical axis to a dimension of ten to the power 235. I wonder if Multisim oscilloscope tend to ignore some extremely valued points while showing the waveform? Anyone insight about this?

If screenshots are needed please tell me then I'll update this post. Thanks in advance!

Wilmee

Hello Wilmee,

Can you share the following information?

1) The Multisim schematics you used

2) The exact steps you performed to save the data (in which order you clicked where)

3) the actual data file you saved

4) The .m code that shows how you loaded your data

Thanks in advance!
