Connector pins (72) spread over 4 shts of schematic

Solved!
Go to solution

P1 has 72 pins, How do I show the pins over 4 sheets of a schematic. I cannot find a symbol for multiple pins that can be shown or used as a single pin.

Re: P1-pin 13

      P1-pin 43

P1-pin 42              All going to an IC

Then others going to a different IC. Both inputs and outputs from the connector.

Can anyone tell me why resistors and caps are foot printed by metric sizes instead of decimals. I still cannot be sure of the size for a simple RLR07 resistor or a CKR05 cap? Nothing meets Mil spec sizes.

Thanks for the help.

I made a 72 pin connector and used off-page connections to get a net. Made a footprint for the connector in Ultiboard and tied the 2 together. It worked, the board is routed.

You had me stumped earlier, but I thought of what I think is the 'right' solution. If the pins you want are different on all pages, you could have created a multi-section component, and place the different sections on different pages.
