Coaxial connector component in Multisim

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I have been looking for a coaxial connector component in the Multisim database as well as the components site listed here. But, I couldn't find one. Can anyone get me a hint about how to find it. Thanks.

sien,

There are several 2-pin connector symbols that you could use and attach them to the available Ultiboard footprints or custom BNC footprints based on what is needed, however here is a schematic with an example BNC connector with a standard BNC symbol configuration.

Feel free to save back to database and customize with any specific information (this was created for a 50 Ohm coax).

Very helpful information. I think my Multisim and Ultiboard do not have any BNC component/footprint because it is an educational version (University licensed). I'll try to make one. Thanks
