Hello,

Correct, you are entering a wrong value for the AC Power Source. Please notice that Multisim AC Power Source accepts an RMS value, and you are entering a maximum value. In order to correct this you need to divide the maximum value by the Square root of 2 (aprox 1.41421).

thanks .....I tried to replace it, but it did not work I keep getting wrong values, I copy the hand exercise echo and the results of current

US =I x Z1+(21.65 + J12.5)+ (I-I1)xZ2
0 = IL x Z3+(IL -I)xZ2

US =ILx 10 + (21.65 + J12.5) + (I - IL) x 25
0 = IL x J12.5 + (IL-I)x 25

0 = IL x J12.5 + IL x 25 - I x 25 = IL(25 + Jl2.5)-Ix25
Ix25 = IL x (25 + J12.5)
I = ILx(l + J0.5) = (1.91 + Jl.60) x (1 + J0.5) = (1.91 x 1-1.60x 0.5) + J(1.91x0.5 + 1.60x1)
I = 1.11 + J2.55

US =(1.11 + J2.55) x 10 + (21.65 - J12.5) + [(1.11 + j2.55)-(1.91 + Jl.60)]x25
US =(11.1 + J25.5) + (21.65 - J12.5) + (-0.8 + J0.95) x 25
US =(11.1 + J25.5) + (21.65 - Jl2.5)+ (-20 + J23.75)
US =12.75 + J36.75

Us = √l2.75² +√36.752² = √1513.125 = 38.9 = 39
a = arctg 36.75/12.75= 70.86° = 71
Us =39<71°[V]

thanks
