8 input nand gate

Hello all, i'm new here and i need your help. I use Multisim 11 and i need to create a circuit that use a 8-inputs nand gate. When i try to simulate it return me an error: an array connection was expected. So i created an example crcuit where i connected the 8-inputs nand directly to Voltage generator and it returned me the same error. Anyone know what can i do to use this nand gate? Thanks a lot
