Hi,

I can not use ni elvis instruments in Multisim 11. I get the error message:

"Error opening NI-ELVIS-library:  "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI ELVISmx\FGen.llb" with LabVIEW-Version [12.0.0]"

Hier an overview of the installed software:

I use Windows XP SP2.

Hi Peter,

I see you installed NI ELVISmx 4.5. This version is not compatible with Multisim 11.x.

Do you have Multisim 11.0 or 11.0.1? In Multisim go to Help>>About Multisim.

I need this info to select the appropriate NI ELVISmx installer.

Thanks. You should install NI ELVISmx 4.3. It can be downloaded at:

NI ELVISmx 4.3

First you'll need to uninstall (at least) NI ELVISmx 4.5 and NI-DAQmx 9.7.5. If possible uninstall all the National Instruments software (except Circuit Design Suite 11.0.2). After this reboot your computer and install NI ELVISmx 4.3.
