negative impedance converter

Hi everyone,

Firstly, I'm new to Multisim platform. I've tried to build a NIC(negative impedance converter) with Multisim 11. However, when I build the circuit on the attached file, the current and the voltage values, that I saw on V3 by multimeter, are stil positive, means that NIC couldn't been realized.

One more question, Is there any way to draw v-i characteristics of a point like on the attached file?NIC

thanks for your help...

Re: negative impedance converter

Hi,

Have a look at the attached file, you can see current is negative through probe 1.  Also, to generate the graph you have to run the DC sweep and you can look at the current through the probe.
