'Timestamp too small' simulation error on multisim

I'm trying to replicate this circuit in multisim.

I can't even get the first part with the crystal oscillator and binary counter to divide the frequency correctly.. 😞 The convergence error message comes when I try and simulate the 'top' portion of the circuit connected to the transmitter and buzzer.

Please help!!

I've attached my multisim file... and any help is better than no help.

Much appreciated,

Tim

Hi Tim,

I suggest you use a clock and connect it to the 4060 IC instead of a crystal. In a SPICE simulator, a crystal is generally very hard to simulate and in this circuit, it's not crucial. When you build the board, you can go back to the crystal design.

I've also noticed the digital CMOS ICs you selected are not consistent; some ICs are 10V while other are 5V. In the real world, the power these ICs power pins will be connected to the same voltage level but in Multisim, we have hidden pin drivers to drive the digital state to the proper voltage level and it can make a different in the simulation.

Another suggest is to build you circuit is stages and test it as you go; this will help you locate the problem.
