MS12 looses some objects when printing in BW

Recent versions of MS have been loosing print object in the print output.

If I set BW then certain text dissapears.

If I set color output it is there.

If I set color output and then set the print driver to BW is is there, but colors come out dim and disapear when printed on a BW printer.

It used to work fine.

I think I would like to submit this as a bug in MS12.

Or does someone know how to make it work again?

Thanks.

Hi David,

Can you tell us what printer you are using. I can try to run some tests with that printer driver to see why this is happening.

Primo pdf usually, or sometimes Nitro.

Hi David,

I did some testing with this and it seems to work when I select the "In black/white" option in the Print Sheet Setup in Multisim. I compared the results in v11 and v12 and they seem to be the same.

My guess is that this has something to do with the design. Is it possible for you to send us the design. You can open a Service Request and we will look into this issue.

Hi here is a sheet with the symbol on it and samples of the various printouts.

I assume it's a problem with this symbol.

Thaanks,

David B

Hi David,

I see the issue. I cant figure out why it is behaving this way so I have filed a CAR (Corrective Action Request) for it. We'll get back to you on this issue.
