Re: Interfacing of multisim 11.0.1 to labview 8.5

Hi,

You will need to use the LabVIEW Multisim Toolkit. This works with LabVIEW 8.5.1 and higher. You can download it from the link below:

https://lumen.ni.com/nicif/us/evalmultisimtlkt/content.xhtml

Here is a page explaining the toolkit and how to use it.

Hope this helps.

Re: Interfacing of multisim 11.0.1 to labview 8.5

Hi Sachin,

I'll try to answer a few of your questions.

-Multisim 11.0 should be able to run Multisim 10 files. The example file is a Multisim 10 file so if you were just to open the VI and run the simulation and select the file, it should work.

- If you create a file in version 11, it gets saved as filename.ms11 . To be able to load this file type, you will need to edit the VI to look for .ms11 files as shown in attached screen shot.

- I am not sure about the error message that you mentioned as that is a very generic error code. I would suggest that you login as administrator when you are using LabVIEW. When you run the program in Windows 7, you can right-click and select Run as Administrator. See if that resolves the issue.

Hope this helps.
