CLD question: converting a front panel control to a typedef... is it okay?

The reason why I am asking is because the exam explicitly mentions not using the given components as grounds for disqualification.  Technically I would no longer be using that front panel control.  I would be substituting that control with one that I made.

I did that, and got my CLD. so I guess it is OK to do so!

Hi,

Making the existing controls or indicators into TypeDefs is just fine.

Be sure to check out the CLD success Package and the Sample exams.

Thanks, I appreciate your answers.  I just wanted to make sure because it's not a matter of losing a point or two - it's whether or not the exam is even to be considered!  🙂
