As long as you have a current CLAD, you can take the CLD. Current meaning on or before your expiration date. Talk with your NI rep and the folks inside of certification to try to get it scheduled. If you will be running a little late, you may be able to get permission to take it even though your CLAD had just expired.

Thank you for your informatio.
I already paid for CLD exam. I just want to know that whether i need to be CLD certified or just writing exam is enough before expiry date.

Take the exam by the expiration of your CLAD is the concise answer.

The longer answer is:
Essentially, if you are suspended you cannot take the next level exam with recerting at the suspended level of certification.

when it will be suspended? can you tell me how many days before?

If you take the exam prior to expiration and pass you will achieve the CLD.
If a person takes the exam on the last day of their certification period, their account will show suspended until the results of the CLD exam are returned. Assuming one passes (because they are using the preparation materials, sample exams, web cast, and OJT LabVIEW resources) their account will then show CLD status from the day the exam was taken.
Internally we will show you account with a pending evaluation.
If you have a specific concern, please send an email to certification@ni.com and we can answer specific issues.
