sell, keep, donate laptop

I have a Dell Precision M6300 17" laptop.

It is built like a tank.

Unfortunately, the OS is Vista.

I used to do all my programming on it, but I recently purchased a new PC.

I can't decide what to do with the laptop.

I don't really have room for it.

I currently have another M6300 which has a broken LCD running Ubuntu, and I am using an external monitor for it.

Should I give away M6300 #2 and use M6300 #1 to replace it?

M6300 #2 also has Vista license.

Do a little hard-drive swappy-swappy, or otherwise swap parts and repair the one *nix machine... sell the rest of the parts on ebay?

The broken part on the laptop #2 would require replacing the LCD assembly or some part of it.

I don't want to put any money into it.

May be this is the one to give away.
