I am the wisest, I have a dirt bike.

And a cheeseburger.

Still waiting, alfa1.  Yes, I'm calling you out.

Do we really need to sink to this on a Friday?

Lets try to get this thread back on off topic. :smileyvery-happy:

Well if you really insist...

What do you think about the hit to the corn crops due to the drought and the ... government regulation requiring we have ethenol in the gasoline?

Buring our food reminds my of AS when... well I should not ruin the book.

THe drought has also affected Australia and now the world is looking to South America for a good harvest.

Thank you all for your thoughts---

I have usually read the "classics" (Treasure Island, Moby **bleep**, Pride & Preduduce, 20,00 leagues under the sea, The adventures of Huck Finn, A past through tomorrow, A Midsummer's night's dream, IT, 1984, ....)

Atlas Shrugged has moved me as much as any other work I have read.

It is not new knoledge but an accepance that others may feel the same way/

Yes, I put Steven King in that list.

Can others cite the roles Tim Curry played in the movie adaptations for?

"The Hunt for Red October"?

"IT"?

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show"?

Re: wisest

I saw on Nature how a man was accepted as a member of gorillas group. The amazing part was the man followed the commands of the leader of the group similar to all the gorillas.
Like in the society today the stupid gorilla leader elected by the other gorillas, with the generals is imposing by force the unintelligent rules on wise people.
My Evolution project is to build a new country with wise people without gorillas.

I have never read Steven King.

Its probably due to one of my stuborn rules that I do not read authors that write faster than I can read. The idea of never being able to catch-up.

Can you suggest just one that would convince me to read him?

Wasn't Tim the cross dressing doctor in Rocky Horror?
