NoFlo... to get ride of spaghetti code

What is interesting to me is that it seems to imply that to make "sub-vi's" for non-existent functionality, one falls back into text based programming, now constrained by a template to provide the "edges" or "connector pane" in "my world". Not sure of the demographic they are aiming for, many of the text based programmers I have known looked down their noses at LabVIEW, not because of its capabilities or perceived lack, but because it was graphical. So to get a programmer, that is competent in Java (or whatever) to use this hybrid seems like a stretch. I'm not a "religious fanatic", have and do use text based languages when I feel that they are appropriate (don't want to use a hammer to drive a screw), but not understanding what is gained by using the hybrid. I understand that much of LabVIEW was created by text based programmers in C/C++, but don't want to wait 20+ years for all of its functionality to be created in NoFlo (or VEE, etc.)
