This bug has already been reported LV 8.6.1 Bug in Data Entry Limits for controls and fixed in 8.6.1f1

After changing the Read Lines check mark in the right click menu, the compiler doesn't correctly check the wire types coming out of the VI to the string array indicator or string indicator (depending on which was initially wired up and the new mode set for the VI.)
