when i first load a project file containing an object orientated "dynamic VI" and try to return a reference to it via the static VI reference, it returns an invalid ref num. Everytime I run it afterwards, w/o closing the project it will return the correct refnum.

Under some conditions, the presence of an installed newer version prevents installing of an older runtime engine:

Since multiple versions of runtime engines can coexist on a single computer (if installed in the proper order), this is an incorrect restrictions and can cause unecessary problems.
