Placing a Rich Text Box on a Front Panel causes a warning message (Systems.Windows.Forms loaded from different location) when opening the VI.

I had a problem recently where a program would randomly hang for several seconds. When the program would hang, my DAQ buffers would overflow and cause a shutdown of my DAQ loop. Over the course of troubleshooting, I found that opening the right-click menu on the Windows taskbar tab of a VI would cause that VI to freeze. The background processing would still be running, but the front panel would freeze. The CPU usage would also increase to 50% on dual core or hyperthreaded CPUs and 100% on single core/non-hyperthreaded CPUs. This would happen even if the application was compiled and just using the run-time engine. Through further investigation, I found that this did not happen on LabVIEW 8.20, but it would happen on all later versions. The version my software was running on was 8.5, so I downgraded to 8.20 and the problem has gone away.

Application pauses for up to 4 seconds at random places in processing loop
