When the visibility of layers in the icon editor is turned off, that setting does not persist when re-opening the icon editor.  The visibility of all layers is turned back on.  At least in LV 2011 and above.  (And somewhat on LV2010.)

Dragging a VI or Control from the project explorer over a Subdiagram Label breaks the drag-n-drop function for that object.
