LabVIEW, Google Maps, & the MS 150

Hi Everyone,

A shameless plug here, but if you haven't already, check out the cool LabVIEW demo on ni.com/community

Several Applications Engineers at NI have worked to create a VI that helps promote the National MS Society annual 150-mile bike ride from Houston TX to Austin TX.  It's using a small bike-mounted UMPC (ulta-mobile PC) running LabVIEW 8.5 to publish GPS coordinates on Google Maps while they ride in the race. It's also using some prototype wireless devices to take measurements along the way. If you've got a Digg account, I'm sure they'd appreciate some help in spreading the word: http://digg.com/software/MS_150_Live_on_Google_Maps

The event is happening this weekend (April 12-13) if you'd like to watch online. You can also donate to the MS Society here.

Thanks!
Charlie S.
