Inverted Pendulum

Does annyboddy know where i can buy an inverted pendulum, I mean as a demo modell for stands etc.? Im currently building one, but im having mecanical problems.
I want to buy a complete set. It does not need to be plug and play, i rather program it myself with Labview.

If you want to go really cheap, maybe you could do something with a Lego Mindstorm NXT kit and a gyro sensor.

See e.g.: http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/13/lego-mindstorms-nxtway-g-much-cooler-than-segway/

Altenbach, do you think such a pendulum could be built using the NXT Lego system ?

Edit : Sorry, your posting rate is higher than my reading/replying rate...

When we did the inverted pendulum at school, we used a setup from Quanser. It was a really good setup too (very accurate, easy to use).
