Distrio proudly announces version 1.8 of Murmex and is available on the Tools Network through the VIPM.
Murmex is a software framework for distributed input/output applications. It allows to efficiently realize local and distributed cross-platform software applications for signal acquisition, generation and processing. The concept is to break down your complex machine to single products of each device that is being used. Allowing you to easily reuse your code for other projects.
It uses the messaging protocol from LabbitMQ, which permits high messaging throughput on a LAN network and internet. Each object can send a message to itself for updating its parameters or to others or to its observers. When you want to start for example an experiment, a Start message is sent to all observers and the observers' observers. Murmex 1.8 uses RabbitMQ 3.6.2 and is available for versions newer than LabVIEW 2014.

I am assuming you are working with Distrio? FYI, the site is flagged as "Dangerous" by Google (malware suspected).

Unfortunately my WordPress installation got somehow hacked and people were able to upload malware. Things are taken care of, it's just that Google has to update their information.
