how do i hook and dc adapter to the elvis breadboard?

how do i go about hooking up my own power supply (i.e. an AC Adapter) to my Elvis II breadboard. I know it goes to the little green screw terminal box first, then what do i do from there? thanks

What you want to do by connecting your power supply. Do you want perform measurement of voltage or something like that?
