What is the principle of operation of the CANopen protocol

Hi. I need some help.

I must make a CANopen communication and I don't know how beginning.

I need information of how east protocol is used. I have seen that SDO and
PDO are used but not so that nor whereupon aim and when there is to use one and another one or if the two are used or single one of them.

Hi droig,

It would be helpfull if you could tell us, which Soft- and Hardware you are using, or plan to use. This is important, because yoyu have to implement the CANopen SDO and PDO Transfer based on the CAN driver for your Hardware.

There are a lot of CANopen posts allready answered within this product board. so a good start could be to search and read some of these threads.

For more specific help please try to explain more in detail what you need to do.
