NI CAN Communication error -1074388991

Hello,

I have application for testing functions in LIN diagnostic mode. I use converter Ni 8476.

After few hours of running, my application crasshes and this error message appears:  The timeout of a wait or notification function expired before any desired state occurred. Solutions: Increase the Timeout parameter value; verify your cable connections and operation of remote devices.

I tried to change cables or increase timeout but with no effect.

Can this be caused by some interference from environment?

I don't have an answer but I want to make it clear this has nothing to do with NI CAN Communication as your title implies.  This is NI LIN.

what version of the NI-XNET driver are you using?

Did you check the power management options for your USB ports? It might happen, that the OS will try to "save" power which would cause the interface to disappear from the system.
