Hi,

I would use the command line ipconfig.

Open a DOS shell in your computer and type in the promprt "ipconfig". This command line will tell you the IP address of the machine.

I hope it helps

Best Regards

Windows 2000 IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.3
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.2

ipconfig shows the IP address is 10.0.0.3; which can not be the real address
of my computer on internet.

Any idea?
