VEHICULAR DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR ACCIDIENT AVOIDANCE USING LABVIEW

The prescribed method focuses on the development of a Vehicular Accident Avoidance System by monitoring vehicles’ physical parameters such as speed and warns the driver. In limit exceeding cases, the system gives signal to LabView where database of driver is maintained using Analog/Digital Communication Techniques.

At times due to various factors like over-speeding, rash driving and brake failures, accidents are more prone to happen. The system proposed aims to provide autonomous communication to the driver as well as to the Police Authorities so as to provide Quick Alert System to the driver.

The speed limit value is transmitted to every vehicle which is on road. If driver crosses the speed limit then the system will alert him/her. If driver fails to limit speed then the system transmits signal to LabView. The data is then received and given to LabVIEW where the database of driver is stored. It adds one point whenever the driver crosses the speed limit. If the points cross the threshold value (for ex. 10) then the LabVIEW gives signal which will automatically brake the vehicle gradually so police authorities can take strict action against the driver. This avoids accidents by rash driving and ensures safely driving for other vehicles.
