px309 terminal configuration

I am using a pressure transducer px309 and I am not sure what terminal configuration to use since I have it connected the ground to the negative and white to the positive of the Daq, and also have the negative into a power supply along with the positive. Thanks in advanced.

Also what is the signal output for pressure units (e.g. psi or bar)

Re: px309 terminal configuration

Hi Elver,

I have a few questions for you in order to clarify your set up. What DAQ device are you using? Also, what type of measurement are you doing with this pressure transducer? Please review the Field Wiring Guide for an overview of how to properly connect your system to get accurate measurements. Lastly, depending on your set up, the units for the output signal can vary. For example, if you use the DAQ Assistant, there is an option for the units in the setup.

Re: px309 terminal configuration

I am using a NI9205 and the input into my pressure transducer is flow and just converts to pressure. And that option for the units in the Daq assistant if you can point it to me it will be great.

Also what I did is a calibrated using a pressure gauge right nex to it but I am not so confident about this, thanks again.
