You can display the measurements in Multisim or LabVIEW. With NI ELVIS, you can use 12 stand alone software instruments by installing the driver (DMM, FGEN, Oscope, ect). The instruments are build using LabVIEW. You can access these same instruments in the Multisim environment and compare the Multisim circuit simulation to the live hardware measurement in real time. I'm including a tutorial describing how to do this using NI myDAQ hardware. The steps are the same for NI ELVIS.
If you want to create a custom application beyond the 12 instruments, you can program the instruments in the LabVIEW programming environment.
