myRio 1900 - FPGA personallity and custom programs

Hi, I am Giuseppe an electronic engineering student.

I am developing an application using LabView 2016 and myRio 1900. The aim of the project is the measurement of the frequency of a square wave signal applied at one digital input of the myRio 1900. The  period/frequency measured is stored in a numeric indicator in the FPGA VI (FPGA Main Default.vi); this VI is the default personality of the FPGA.

The value of the measured period is read by an FPGA reference in the host VI program and then converted into a frequency. This section of the program works fine, but I am not able to generate a PWM signal using the standard blocks of the myRIO: the PWM signal is simply not generated. I searched for the error and it says that the resource is already opened/used.

Have you any suggestions for this kind of problem? Thank you for your answers!
