myRIO data logger

I want to use the myrio as an analogue data logger.  I need a fast logging rate.  I am writing each loop iteration to a csv.  i need a sample rate somewhere near 8khz, though using just a while loop on a VI gives me a sample rate of only 1.8khz.  The device is specified as having a sample rate of 200ks/s.  I am wondering how i go about increasing this sample rate.

It would help to see your code to see if there's anything that could be changed.

Are you working purely from the RT or are you using the FPGA as well?
