LabVIEW 2012 support was added with NI ELVISmx 4.4. You can download and install the driver, which will install DAQmx 9.5.5 and ELVISmx 4.4 support for LabVIEW 2012, allowing you to use the DAQ Assistant and myDAQ in that version.

I have DAQmx 9.6.2, Labview 2012 and Windows 7. I have tried the user preferences to turn off notification. DAQ assistant works, I can configure a channel and run it from within the task window, but as soon as I try to execute the task in LabView I get a message about the channel needing a sample rate. The channel has a sample rate assigned.
ELVIS tasks work and the debugging windows in MAX work, the tasks just won't run in LabView.
I just tested the same vi on an XP computer and LabView 2011 and it works fine.
Even the myDAQ troubleshooting utility gives this same error. Do I need a different driver?

Have you installed NI ELVIS 4.4?

Yes. The ELVIS tools seem to work fine.
I downloaded the 9.7 drivers to replace 9.6.2. I will give that a try this evening.

The 9.7 drivers fixed my problem.
