NI ELVIS programs do not recognize myDAQ

I have been having alot of trouble with my myDAQ. I installed the software and the computer recognizes the myDAQ, however, whenever I run a program through ELVIS (DMM FGEN etc), under device it says, "No Supported Devices." The myDAQ drivers are also downloaded. I have a Windows 7 also. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and that did not work either. Any help would be greaatly appreciated.

I'm sorry you are having trouble, Benjamin.

There is a program that installs with the myDAQ driver (NI-DAQmx) which should be linked on your desktop or your start menu. It is called "Measurement and Automation Explorer" (or NI MAX)

If you can open that, click to the left of "Devices and Interfaces" to expand it and see if your myDAQ shows up there.

Also, follow these instructions to create a "Technical Support Report" and post it here so we can know more about the software you have installed.

Hopefully we can get you up and running soon 🙂

I'm having the same problem. NIMAX is recognizing my myDAQ but they are not being recognized by my ELVIS instruments (digital multimeter or others).

Hello bassirou08,

This is a pretty old forum post, and it was about ELVIS recognizing myDAQ.

You might have better luck if you create a new forum topic and give a description of what you need help with. Thanks!
