MAX with MyRIO not showing simulated devices

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm trying to teach my kids about what I do by using LabView and MyRIO. I'm using the LabView2013 that came with the MyRIO. I wanted to create some signals to test out our VI's using a simulated device created in MAX. However, when I go into MAX and right click on Devices and interfaces and select Create New there's no Simulated NI-DAQmx Device or Modular Instrument option. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I'm guessing you don't have the DAQmx driver installed which would give you the ability to simulate those device.
