How to use thermocouple on myRIO 1900 ?

I have a J-type thermocouple, sensing temperatures between -50°C and 350°C.

Which channel should I use on myRIO to intercept the signal? How much voltage input is most appropriate?

Is it still missing some other hardware devices?

I am not an electronic engineer, but anxious to solve this problem, please help me.

you need an interface IC to convert between the milivolts from the J to a value for myrio

If you could provide the specification sheet it would be easy to see if it's just a thermocouple or a thermocouple with interface IC
