How do you connect a Convectron375 to record data using labview?

I am trying to hook up a Convectron 375 vacuum pressure gauge to record data using labview for a vacuum chamber.  Currently, Labview will not recognize the device.  I have a NI-Serial PCI-232 attached to the computer but it is having trouble reading that to, if it is even necessary.  I suspect it is looking for the driver for the gauge but I do not have it, nor know where to find it.  Any suggestions would be great.

LabVIEW will not recognize any serial instrument. No programming language will. The only thing that ever gets recognized is the com port itself. For that, you need NI-Serial and NI-VISA drivers. For the instrument, you'll have to write the code yourself with the VISA functions.
