Hi,
I am trying to get my NI Elvis II+ to count the time a digital pulse is on HIGH.
I have made use of the DAQ Assistant and set it to Acquire Signals>>Counter Input>>Pulse Width>>ctr1.
I have not changed anything in the setting winndow, however when I try to run it, to test the device, the following error message shows up:
DAQ Assistant Error
Error -200474 occurred at DAQ Assistant
Possible Reason(s):
Specified operation did not complete, because the specified timeout expired.
I am new to labview and I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I have not attached anything to the prototyping boards while testing the pulse width counter function. As far as I know I need to connect the signal I want to count to the PFI 4/CTR1_GATE input on the NI Elvis board?
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me out with my problem.
