Can not install Elvismx on 64 bit windows.

Hello all,

Having a bit of a crisis. I bought a mydaq for a college project and I cannot get elvismx to install.

I am using a Sony Vaio win 8 64 bit laptop, and every time elvis tries to install I get a "32 bit only" error and the installer quits. I have tried several versions of driver for elvis including 4.4.

Using LabView 2012 sp1 (64 bit) if that makes a difference.

I would appreciate any help I could get!

ELVISmx will install to 64-bit Windows, but it will not install into 64-bit LabVIEW.  You'll need to install LabVIEW 2012 SP1 32-bit and then you should be able to install the ELVISmx driver with LabVIEW support.  This note should probably be included on the download page (I'll see if we can get it updated), but it is noted in the readme.

You're welcome.  And the download page should now be updated to specify that only 32-bit versions of LabVIEW support ELVISmx.
