Did you mean:

Ya know it's going to be a bad day when.....

You just got a new hard drive, just got everything re-installed and have successfully mass compiled your LabVIEW 8.0 directory.

You start LabVIEW 8.2 and start mass compiling that installation, only to discover (an hour later) that you are mass compiling the 8.0 directory. Smiley Mad

I wish the mass compile tool had a directory verification step.

Oh well, off to repair 8.0

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

Yes.... it does,,, it's the "Select Current Directory"!!  😉

Yikes!!  That's one of those times when you actually see a grown man cry!  😮

when you open someone elese's vi that you need to debug and you discover 30+ frames of Stacked Sequential Structures, where 1/2 the sub-vi have the outputs to the right and the other half have the vi outputs to the left.  This was probably done to simplify where the wires run to a sequence local.  However, midway within the sequence, the left outputs are routed to the right, and vice-versa..

The bad day part is that is the least of your problems!!!! here is an example

"better" is a complete different ballpark... at least I feel more secure using Firefox... Smiley Tongue
