I am using examples in my software and after updating my software, my VIs are broken. The error is that one of the tool kit files are missing. The file is Daqmx.rc.
If I try and open the example vi alone, it is also broken and no longer works. The vi that I'm attempting to load is the SVT_Initialize Swept Sine (DAQmx) (1AO, 2AI).vi.
I've searched and found the file DAQmx.rc and have copied it to the folder where the vi resides but that does not resolve the issue. What do I need to do to get this back up and running again? I somehow need to get LabView to realize the file DAQmx.rc is still intact and I need to get LabView to open the vi correctly.
Thanks,
Danny

Hi Danny,
Did re-install LabVIEW or update your version? If that is the case, it sounds like you haven't re-installed the drivers/toolkits. When you install a newer version of LabVIEW or re-install it, you have to re-install your drivers and toolkits. This should take care of your problem.

I have the same problem and haven't reinstalled LabVIEW 2014 or LabVIEW 2014 64-bit. Is this the reason for all the Broken Vis?
Are you saying we must reinstall all twice?

I have recently installed LabVIEW 2010 and I get the same error when trying to run a VI file.
Once I try to open the VI file, it asks me to "Find the Control Named "IMAQdx.ctl" and once the VI loads it is broken and I recieve an error saying that "This VI needs a driver or toolkit that is not found. Missing resource file "imaqdx.rc".
Any ideas how I can resolve this issue?
Thanks a lot,
Sam
