Darren's Weekly Nugget 07/31/2006

Today's nugget is provided by Ben, who pointed out something in this thread that I previously did not know.  If you are entering text in the Icon Editor, you can use the arrow keys to re-position the text as you type it.  Prior to knowing this, I would always type in all my text, then select it with the Selection tool, then move it around with the arrow keys or mouse at that point.  Moving the text with the arrow keys as I type is much faster!

Awesome feature- I came across it by accident a few months ago and use it almost daily now.  It seems like the little things always make a big difference- thanks for the heads up, Ben.Smiley Very Happy

This and directly dragging pictures onto the icon (which auto sizes it) have been great additions to the icon editor.  Great heads up D!

Great googly moogly.  I knew about the moving text thing, but the dragging pictures thing is new on me.  Interestingly, it only works on the icon, not the icon editor.  I regret that I only have 5 stars to give for this one.
