Inverse chi square VI failure

I am using the Inverse Chi Square distribution vi within the statstics menu of vi's (LabView 5.1) and it works up to 169 degrees of freedom. At >170 df it explodes and returns a non-sensical values (999.999). Is this a known bug? Anyone know of a fix?

Thanks for the response. The last posting in the older thread is June 04. Have you received any further response since then? And I am guessing that whatever fix exists or will exist it will not include a fix for earlier version than 7?
