LV 5.1 and Win XP, Installation problems

When I install LV 5.1 on my WinXP machine, some of the vis on my Functions\Data Acquisitions\ menus do not show up. Instead I see a big question mark in its place. I'm missing vis in the Analog Input, Analog Output, Digital I/O, Counter, Calibration and Configuration, and Signal conditioning menus. Anybody have any suggestions on what i can do?

Hi M,

The big question mark means that LV could not find the vi's. Were these functions explicitely selected during the installation? In other words, did you include the Data Acquisition toolset during the installation?

Have you tried re-installing LabView?

Hello,

It sounds like you have not installed NI-DAQ, or did not include support for LabVIEW when you installed NI-DAQ. To get these VIs, make sure to install NI-DAQ after installing LabVIEW and be sure that the "Support for LabVIEW 5.1" box is checked.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
