real time problems with ni pxi-5102

Hello, my system is:
chassis:ni pxi-1042
Real Time  controller 8106
ADC ni pxi-5102

I have problems running vi's on the ADC, it always says: niScope Initialize With Options.vi<ERR>Insufficient location information or the device or resource is not present in the system.

so I can't do the initialization.

Could be that the ADC doesn't work propertly on a RT controller?

Hi Mario,

yes you're right. The 5102 is not supported under RT as you can see here:

so this means that I can't run the pxi-5102 under a RT system.

So my question is why when they sell the products on the web page for them these 2 devices are compatible?

I should contact them.

Hi Mario,

Thank you for bringing this error to our attention.  I have made a request to have the PXI Advisor updated to reflect only those Digitizers supported in RT when an RT controller is selected.  Please let me know if there were any additional locations where you saw this discrepancy.
