I want to move my LV codes written in 8.5 and 8.5 to Yosemite.   Can I does this smoothly?

LabVIEW 2014 isn't officially supported in Yosemite.  When you try to install it gives you a warning and asks if you want to continue. 

 

If you're looking to install LabVIEW 8.6, take a look at this chart: http://www.ni.com/labview/os-support/

 

You'll notice that 2013 isn't supported on Mavericks.  This means it's unlikely anything older than 2013 SP1 would be supported on Yosemite, including any LabVIEW in the 8.x range.

 

If smooth is what you're looking for, you'll want to find another solution.
