Using old compiling file on FPGA possible?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

is it possible to use an older compiling file on an FPGA and if yes, how can that be uploaded to the FPGA?

A couple of times we wanted to try an older VI version, but wouldn't like to wait on the compiling process. Also we wouldn't need to operate directly on the frontpanel.

many thanks from a Labview beginner;)

If you still have the old build file, then you just point the Open FPGA Reference to that bit file.  There should be a path input or you can double-click the node to configure it.
